Salvosa BJJ and MMA EXPO are very pleased to announce the appointment of world-renowned referee, Andrew Correa, as HEAD REFEREE for the Salvosa BJJ Grappling Tournament.
- International referee for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (CBJJ), Abu Dhabi, Grapplers Quest and the Gracie Nationals.
- Extensive high-level experience in officiating and a specialist in educating aspiring referees for various Submission Grappling events worldwide.
SPECIAL SEMINAR FOR BJJ/GRAPPLING REFEREES:
- In concert with Salvosa BJJ and MMA Expo, Mr. Correa conduct a seldom-delivered seminar immediately following the grappling competition on Saturday, June 21st (approximately 5:00pm).
- The unique and highly educational seminar is virtually a must for all referees as it covers hands-on and in detail the rules of BJJ/Submission Grappling, the psychology of officiating, tips on accurate point scoring, questions and answers on the most controversial calls and a hands-on application of these rules through mock matches.
- Participants will receive a certificate from BJJ Referee Solutions.
- This seminar is open to all existing/aspiring referees, instructors and coaches that want to broaden their knowledge of the rules of this sport.
- Salvosa BJJ and MMA Expo are please to subsidize the standard rate of this seminar making it available at only $80 + GST.
