MMA Expo SEMINARS ~ Common Questions Answered
A recent survey that we conducted indicated that some individuals wondered whether “the MMA Expo seminars might be too intense” and a few others “felt a little intimidated by this year’s focus on MMA”. If you have not participated at Mixed Martial Arts Expo before these are fair questions to ask.

The event really is about MIXED martial arts...as in...ALL martial arts. I would like to assure you that we deliver all of our seminars based on the philosophy that "we all have to work in the morning."

Here is a little insight into how our highly successful seminars are structured.
  • IMPORTANT: There is no sparring involved at MMA Expo, nor is there any aggressive contact at all. Partnering up on a mat is a mutually-beneficial training experience. And you might have two or three partners during that hour, and then move on to another seminar of your choice.
  • OPEN TO ALL LEVELS: Do not be concerned at all about your experience level. You might be a black belt at Karate but you’re going to be entry level at Brazilian JiuJitsu. But that’s more than OK. The same is true of everyone else trying a different martial art; so even martial artists with three to six months of experience will have a great time and this includes all females martial artists, teens that train with adults now and all styles of martial arts.
  • TRY SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY: This is a great motto to live by and this concept is one of the most unique elements behind MMA Expo…the opportunity to stay within your own style or try a new martial art in a flexible, casual environment where there are no expectations of experience level.  very educational.  And seriously great fun.
  • MATCHING UP ON THE MAT: On each mat the instructor will help you team up with someone of a similar experience level. You can do this on your own by belt level of course…but not everyone has belts. Finding appropriate level partners has never been an issue.
  • THE MMA THEME: Indeed there are a couple of mats that are more “MMA oriented” but even at that we are still talking about school/dojo-level training that everyone could easily participate in if they wanted to.
  • BRING A FRIEND: Concerned about head out on your own? That will disappear in the first five minutes you are on the mat but for an added level of comfort invite a friend or colleague from your school or dojo to come along. I promise you a GREAT time. But rather than take my word for it, read the testimonials below from past attendees.
  • PRICE vs VALUE: At $95 per day for pre-registration this works out to roughly $15 per session per day, even less if you take the weekend package.  And our 40 instructors are top-notch!

So if you had any concern about whether or not you would be comfortable taking the seminars at MMA Expo I hope this information helped put your mind at ease. Do take a moment to:
